Job board: Southern Africa leads again in hydrogen hiring

For the third time in as many months, Southern African countries are leading recruitment in the green hydrogen sector. The region accounts for 19 of the 27 roles available this month, spread across South Africa, Zambia, Mozambique and Namibia. By country, South Africa is the frontrunner, having 16 open roles.

  • Norway-based renewable developer Scatec emerges as the single biggest recruiter, advertising 8 roles spread across several African countries.

  • The listings also point to an emerging trend of a growing demand for just energy transition specialists, with four dedicated roles now open.
