Jobs board: Southern Africa retains lead in hydrogen talent

For the fourth time in as many months, Southern African countries are leading recruitment in the green hydrogen sector. The region accounts for 17 of the 22 roles available this month, spread across South Africa and Namibia. By country, South Africa remains the frontrunner, with 14 open positions.

• Engineering roles dominate this month’s listings, with more than ten positions focused on project, technical and hybrid energy engineering.

• The listings show a diverse mix of employers, including consultancies, project developers and enablers, as recruitment expands beyond project development into advisory, policy  and implementation support roles across the ecosystem.
